2019 Spring Season - High School Teams

Please read ALL prior to registering.

-- ALL PLAYERS MUST have a valid US Lacrosse membership to participate.  If you do not yet have one, go to www.uslacrosse.org to obtain one.  The 12 digit membership ID# is required during our registration.

-- Brownsburg Lacrosse fields teams made up exclusively with students who attend Brownsburg HS.

-- Uniforms

ALL players will receive a new uniform for the 2019 season.  Please provide size information during the registration process.  These uniforms will be used for the 2019 and 2020 seasons, so please order accordingly.  If your child grows out of the 2019 uniform, we will order a new one, but to help keep costs down, please consider a size that will last both seasons.

-- Family Discounts

Multiple registrants from the same family will receive a $20 discount off of the standard registration fee for the second registrant per family and $25 for any registrants after that. This applies across all teams in the organization - so, if you also have youth players, this discount will apply to them once youth registration is opened in November.

-- Registration Late Fee

Fee is $50. Starts on Jan. 21, 2019.  Cancellation policy notification is included in registration process.

-- REGISTRATION PROCESS -- NEW OPTIONS THIS YEAR

Boys and Girls will have 2 options at registration – participate in the fundraiser or do the buyout – each is detailed below.

BUYOUT OPTION 

Choosing this option means your child will not have to raise any funds selling mulch or through other methods… the parent is paying the full participation fee.

The BUYOUT option has a payment plan option.  When you register, if you want to do the BUYOUT option, you will choose “HS Boys Reg. Fee + Fundraiser Buyout” or “HS Girls - Reg. Fee + Fundraiser Buyout”.  When you get to end of the registration process and are ready to pay you can do 2 things:

1. Enter your credit card information and pay the full fee ($475 for Boys, $450 for Girls) instantly.  There will be no further obligation.

OR

2. Select the “2019 Boys Buyout Payment Plan” OR “2019 Girls Buyout Payment Plan” and a payment plan will be scheduled as follows:

     a. BOYS

          i. $200 at completion of registration process

          ii. $150 on 2/1

          iii. $125 on 3/1

     b. GIRLS

          i. $200 at completion of registration process

          ii. $150 on 2/1

          iii. $100 on 3/1

     c. You MUST select the payment plan to get the multiple payment option, if you do not, the full fee will be charged to your card at checkout.

     d. These are NOT holds against your card, they are scheduled payments that will be charged on the specified dates – you will receive a reminder notice 2-3 days before the payment occurs.  Any charges rejected for insufficient balance will be collected via check.

FUNDRAISER OPTION

Choosing this option means your child will be using one or more of the fundraising options (basic detail provided in earlier communications - specifics provided in January) that we will provide to raise the $200 fundraiser requirement.  Funds raised toward this $200 requirement will be tracked over the course of the season and once the $200 requirement has been met, the parent will be notified via email that the commitment has been met.

If you choose this option you will select “HS Boys - Doing Fundraiser” OR “HS Girls - Doing Fundraiser”. When you get to the end of the registration process, you MUST choose the payment plan option. If the payment plan option is not selected, the registration fee AND the fundraising requirement will both be charged at checkout – which is essentially like doing the buyout.  This is a website limitation, we cannot force a payment plan, each user must choose it.

1.  When you get to end of the registration process and are ready to pay, select the “HS Boys - Fundraiser Payment Plan” OR “HS Girls - Fundraiser Payment Plan” option and a payment plan will be scheduled as follows:

     a. BOYS

          i. $75 at completion of registration

          ii. $50 on 11/16

          iii. $75 on 2/1

          iv. $75 on 3/1

          v. $200 on 6/28

     b. GIRLS

          i. $75 at completion of registration

          ii. $50 on 11/16

          iii. $50 on 2/1

          iv. $75 on 3/1

          v. $200 on 6/28

     c. The FINAL PAYMENT of $200 will be canceled once the fundraising requirement is met.  If a partial amount is raised, the $200 will be adjusted accordingly.

     d. Registration deadline for BOTH HS teams will be 1/20/2019.  With both teams playing games in March and needing to order new uniforms, we must place the uniform order in late January.

     e. Any registrations STARTED on or after 11/16 will collect the first and second payments at completion of registration.

     f. Anyone choosing to do the fundraising option is expected to participate in some fundraising activity… this is not a deferred payment plan. You will not have to participate in all of them... they are just options for you to choose from.

     g. These are NOT holds against your card, they are scheduled payments that will be charged on the specified dates – you will receive a reminder notice 2-3 days before the payment occurs.  Any charges rejected for insufficient balance will be collected via check.

--     Season Kick-Off Meeting

An organization-wide season kickoff meeting/"meet the coach" event will be held on Wednesday, February 13th from 6:30 to 8:30 pm at the Hendricks County 4H Fairgrounds in Danville.  Attendance is expected as many important details will be presented.

-- Season Start

Practice will officially begin on Saturday, February 16th - INDOORS - at the SportZone (6601 Coffman Rd, Indianapolis, IN 46268).  We have the facility on Saturdays from 8-10 am and Mondays from 8-9 pm from 2/16 until 3/11 - team specific times will be announced at a later date.  As soon as we are able to move outside (weather allowing), we will do so - team specific dates/times announced at a later date. The indoor facility rental is included in your registration fees and serves as our backup/guaranteed practice spot if we can't be outside.

-- PRE-SEASON CLINIC

We are also holding a pre-season indoor clinic that is open to all returning, new or just interested players.  This clinic will include both MONDAY and SATURDAY sessions for HS players.  It will run from Saturday, Jan 5th thru Monday, Feb. 11th. Details provided in early November when this session is launched.
