2022 Spring Season - High School Teams

Please read ALL prior to registering.

-- ALL PLAYERS MUST have a valid US Lacrosse membership to participate.  If you do not yet have one, go to www.uslacrosse.org to obtain one.  The 12-digit membership ID# is required during our registration.

-- Brownsburg High School Lacrosse teams are formed exclusively from students who attend Brownsburg HS, or who are homeschooled and live in Brownsburg Community School Corporation boundaries.

-- Uniforms

All RETURNING players will use the uniform issued to them for the 2021 season. This is year 2 of our uniform cycle. NEW players will receive a new uniform. Please provide sizing information during the registration process as a guide... we will have samples for a try-on session prior to the date when they are ordered in mid-January.

-- Family Discounts

Multiple registrants from the same family will receive a $20 discount off of the standard registration fee for the second registrant per family and $25 off for each registrant after that. This applies across all teams in the organization - so, if you also have youth players in your family, this discount will apply to them once Youth registration opens in January.

-- Registration Late Fee

DEADLINE to START the registration process for BOTH HS teams will be Sunday, Jan. 16th. With both HS teams playing games in mid-March and needing to order uniforms, we must place the new uniform order in January.

Late Fee is $75 and starts on Jan. 17th.  Cancellation policy notification is included in registration process.


-- REGISTRATION PROCESS -- 2 OPTIONS AGAIN THIS YEAR

Boys and Girls HS Players will have 2 options at registration – participate in the fundraiser or do the buyout – each is detailed below.

***BUYOUT OPTION***

Choosing this option means your child will not have to do any fundraising... the parent is paying the full participation fee.

The BUYOUT has an optional payment plan that can be selected.  When you start the registration process, if you want to do the BUYOUT OPTION, you will select the program called “HS Boys Reg. Fee + Fundraiser Buyout” or “HS Girls - Reg. Fee + Fundraiser Buyout”.  When you get to end of the registration process and are ready to pay you can do 2 things:

     1. Enter your credit card information and pay the full fee ($475 for Boys, $450 for Girls) instantly.  There will be no further obligation.

     OR

     2. Select the “2022 Boys Buyout Payment Plan” OR “2022 Girls Buyout Payment Plan” and a payment plan will be scheduled as follows:
        a. BOYS
               i. $175 at completion of registration process
               ii. $150 on 1/15
               iii. $150 on 2/15

        b. GIRLS
               i. $175 at completion of registration process
               ii. $150 on 1/15
               iii. $125 on 2/15

c. You MUST select the payment plan to get the multiple payment option for the Buyout, if you do not, the full fee will be charged to your card at checkout. There is a $3 fee charged per transaction for the payment plan which goes to SportsConnect, our website host.

        d. These are NOT holds against your card, they are scheduled payments that will be charged on the specified dates – you will receive a reminder notice 2-3 days before the payment occurs.  Any charges rejected for insufficient balance will be collected via check.

***FUNDRAISER OPTION***

Choosing this option means your child will be using one or more of the fundraising options that we will provide to complete the $200 fundraiser requirement.  Funds raised toward this $200 requirement will be tracked over the course of the season and once the $200 requirement has been completed, the parent will be notified via email that the commitment has been met.  Choosing this option brings with it an expectation that your child will participate in at least ONE of the fundraising options.

If you choose this option you will select the program called “HS Boys - Doing Fundraiser” OR “HS Girls - Doing Fundraiser”. When you get to the end of the registration process, you MUST choose the payment plan option. If the payment plan option is not selected, the registration fee AND the fundraising requirement will both be charged at checkout – which is essentially like doing the buyout.  This is a website limitation, we cannot force a payment plan, each user must choose it.

When you get to end of the registration process and are ready to pay, select the “HS Boys - 2022 Fundraiser Payment Plan” OR “HS Girls - 2022 Fundraiser Payment Plan” option and a payment plan will be scheduled as follows:

          a. BOYS
               i. $100 at completion of registration
               ii. $100 on 1/15
               iii. $75 on 2/15
               iv. $200 on 7/1 (This final payment will be canceled once the fundraising requirement is met.  If a partial amt is raised, the $200 will be adjusted accordingly)

          b. GIRLS
               i. $100 at completion of registration
               ii. $75 on 1/15
               iii. $75 on 2/15
               iv. $200 on 7/1 (This final payment will be canceled once the fundraising requirement is met.  If a partial amt is raised, the $200 will be adjusted accordingly)

  c. There is a $3 fee charged per transaction for the payment plan which goes to SportsConnect, our website host.

          d. Anyone choosing to do the fundraising option is expected to participate in some fundraising activity… this is not a deferred payment plan. You will not have to participate in all of the options... there are multiple for you to choose from.

          e. These are NOT holds against your card, they are scheduled payments that will be charged on the specified dates – you will receive a reminder notice 2-3 days before the payment occurs.  Any charges rejected for insufficient balance will be collected via check.


-- Season Kick-Off Meeting

This year we will be doing a VIRTUAL organization-wide season kickoff meeting which will be held on Thursday, February 17th. Attendance is expected as many important details will be presented.

-- Season Start

Practice for the HS teams will officially begin in mid-February. Boys start on Monday, February 14th and Girls start on Saturday, February 19th. Both are INDOORS - at the SportZone (6601 Coffman Rd, Indianapolis, IN 46268). We have the facility on Saturdays 9-1030 am for GIRLS and on Mondays from 630-830 pm for BOYS. Indoor practices sessions run for 4 weeks.  As soon as we are able to move outside (weather allowing), we will do so - team specific dates/times/location communicated by coaches at a later date. The indoor facility rental is included in your registration fees and serves as our backup/guaranteed practice spot if we can't be outside as much as we'd like.

We are also holding a pre-season indoor clinic that is open to all returning, new, or "just interested" players.
